23k run for Womb&Bloom access fund & Parkinsons UK

Hi, I'm Victoria Lemmon (3rd from left), a birth doula, now student midwife and creator of a platform - Womb & Bloom London.

On Sunday 19th May 2024, my husband and I will run our third half marathon and hope to raise money for the Womb and Bloom London Access Fund and PARKINSONS UK.

Womb & Bloom London is a platform of passionate birth workers who support families through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Launched in the Spring of 2022, we have worked with many families and have been able to support a number through an access fund we set up. By hosting group courses, workshops, and classes, we have raised funds to help clients who are financially unable to access our services.

Please help us raise lots of money so every pregnant woman, person, and family can access a doula or specialist practitioner to support them as they transition to becoming a parent. We also want to support PARKINSONS UK in researching a cure for this condition and supporting those who have it.

Every hour, two people in the UK are told they have Parkinson's—a brain condition that turns lives upside down, leaving a future full of uncertainty. Parkinson's UK ensures that people have whatever they need to regain control, from information to inspiration. Parkinson's UK inspires and supports the international research community to develop life-changing treatments faster.
