Smashed window fund at The Book Nook

Hello, we are The Book Nook, a small independent children’s bookshop, and on Sunday morning we were devastated to discover that one of our windows, which only the day before had been beautifully painted by an author/illustrator, had been smashed by vandals.

After requests from the wonderful book community asking how they can support us we decided to set up this page.

We are a small independent children’s bookshop in Hove and would love your support in helping us pay for a new window, rather than incur inflated insurance costs.

This act of vandalism not only destroyed our beautifully decorated window but also damaged stock. Any support would be hugely appreciated in this current economic climate.
