Support Blend and Befriend: A Safe, Sober Space for San Pedro

A year ago, Jennifer Pattee took a leap of faith and purchased Blend and Befriend with a dream: to create a safe, sober space in the heart of downtown San Pedro where people could gather, connect, and belong. Today, that dream is alive. We’ve built a vibrant community hub, hosting game nights, sober holiday celebrations, and events that welcome everyone, no matter their background or situation.

Blend and Befriend has also become a place of refuge for the unhoused and those facing crisis. We don’t just offer a free meal — we offer conversation, compassion, and connections to resources that can help people find their way forward. Every day, we see the impact this space has, and we know there’s so much more we can do to support those who need us most.

We’re launching this GoFundMe with a goal of raising $25,000 to continue expanding our work. Your support will allow us to expand our cafe so we can genetate enough income to keep offering affordable events and services, ensuring the people who need us most can access everything we provide.
