Black to Birchtown BIPOC Retreat
Thank you so much for your support of our campaign to create a retreat and learning centre for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour to rest, resist, and organize in Birchtown, Mi'kma'ki!
During February we collaborated with Change Is Brewing Collective on a separate campaign that has been very successful and was fully funded by February 27 https://gofund.me/75268c22 We are now working on building our membership community, we are dedicated to removing barriers to BIPOC communities and memberships begin at $0. We plan to begin booking retreats and programs for members in Birchtown starting June 2021. Visit https://bit.ly/buyblackbirchtown to learn more!

We would now like to put the focus on supporting SEED (South End Environmental Injustice Society) in Shelburne with their fundraiser to provide clean water for Shelburne's Black community with the purchase of UV water treatment systems for Black residents in the area who are living with contaminated drinking water.
