Bring Black Technology to San Diego

Hello,


We are Ronald Williams ([e-mail geredigeerd]) and Carson Lunsford ([e-mail geredigeerd]). We are student-entrepreneurs and attend San Diego State University. Ronald is the co-founder of Black Xpressions (@xpress_it). Carson is the founder of Advocate 2 Elevate (@a2epromotions). We would like to attend AfroTech 2018 in San Francisco, CA, but we need your help!


We are asking for $3000 for travel, residency and food.


AfroTech is a national technology convention created by Blavity. The purpose of the convention is to educate, promote and empower black engineers, entrepreneurs and creatives. It also a space to network and possibly find business partners and/or job opportunities. You can visit www.afrotech.com for more information.


Our goal is not to just attend this convention to better our knowledge and network. We would like share what we learn with our San Diego community. Black people in technology can be considered an anomaly. We want to change that. #BlackTech
