Ben ZeBrack's Eagle Scout Project
Donation protected
Hello,
I am Ben ZeBrack, an Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 22. I have been in scouting for 10 years and I have begun working on my Eagle Scout Project. I respectfully ask for your help. My Eagle Scout Project benefits the Prince of Peace Episcopal Church located in Woodland Hills, California. Prince of Peace Church has chartered Troop 22 for over two decades and is where we hold our meetings every Monday night, so my Eagle Project is also my way of giving back to the Church. The objective of the project is to install two 20 foot rolling gates in the Church's parking lot, rebuild a 6 foot portion of their wall, as well as refurbishing an entrance sign. The gates will help provide security for Prince of Peace Church and the organizations that share its property, such as the West Valley Food Pantry and, starting in early 2020, Safe Parking LA. The West Valley Food Pantry provides emergency food to the needy and homeless and stores it securely on the Church's property. Safe Parking LA provides people who are experiencing homelessness that own and sleep in a car (which make up 25% of Los Angeles' homeless population) a safe parking option for their vehicles by designating parking lots (usually belonging to non-profit organizations or churches) for them to sleep in safety overnight. For my project to be possible, I need your help to raise the funds budgeted to pay for the gates, the concrete for the wall, refurbishing the sign, and the tools and supplies required. Your support will help me achieve my long time goal of becoming an Eagle Scout.
Thank you.
