The Project
Beaumont Boys School is ideally situated to benefit from outdoor education, which would support the schools extensive efforts in connecting nature, curriculum & digital Literacy. With close proximity to Beaumont park plus the protected space of the quarry we are uniquely situated for the school children to benefit greatly from our outdoor classroom and education project.
This is an incredible opportunity for children to bridge the gap between classroom learning & the natural world. This space will help students connect their education to real-life experiences in a holistic and positive way, preparing them for their future careers and sparking lifelong interests. Your support will make a huge difference in bringing this vision to life!
Outdoor Classroom Education Project.
Last year the School worked towards a grant approval which has been agreed, to build an outdoor education classroom.
Fundraising efforts to date from the school and Parents Association events, are bringing us very close to the total cost of the outdoor classroom helping the project.
We have a €5,000 shortfall to fill.
OUTDOOR CLASSROOM DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION
The outdoor classroom will be built on the school grounds, adjacent to the school building. Our objective is to provide a dedicated space for weather proof outdoor lessons to enhance student engagement with nature.
Any help to our brave SkyDivers is appreciated. Together We Can Do This!
The Future is Bright!
A Word From our SkyDivers:
Sean Coakley, Teacher, School Parent & Project Leader:
I'm taking on the Skydive Challenge to raise money for our school's outdoor classroom because I believe it will be an incredible opportunity for children to bridge the gap between classroom learning and the natural world. This space will help students connect their education to real-life experiences in a holistic and positive way, preparing them for their future careers and sparking lifelong interests. Your support will make a huge difference in bringing this vision to life!
Ciara Drummond - School Parent:
I’m taking the leap – literally! jumping out of a plane to raise funds for Beaumont Boys outdoor learning program. This incredible initiative helps boys connect with nature, develop important life skills, and engage in hands-on learning experiences that will last a lifetime. I’m asking for your support to help make these opportunities available to every student. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Let’s give these boys the chance to soar – on the ground and in the sky!
Vicki Bowen - School Parent
As a mom of two boys in Beaumont boys, I truly value the importance of outdoor learning. It helps support all types of learners in unique and meaningful ways. Every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and will make a lasting difference in enhancing the learning experience for the whole school community through inclusive and engaging outdoor learning.
Thank you for your Support.
