Hi I'm Jimmy. I'm a new father, I've worked at Domino's for the past 3 years. My wife Erica has been stay-at-home since our daughter Ava arrived 5 months ago.

On 12/14/23 after a grueling day at work I had a panic attack on my way home and I wound up blacking out in my living room. I dropped dead weight to the ground.

I began to quickly develop a deep, sharp pain in my groin. I was bedridden all weekend and come Monday 12/18/23 I took myself to Brooksville Regional hospital where I was diagnosed with a perianal abscess that affected my perinium, testicles and left buttocks.

The cause of this rare glandular blockage is unknown but may be related to stress resulting in immunosuppression or an otherwise undiagnosed immune disorder.

Early afternoon on 12/19/23 I had surgery to incise and drain the abscess. Everything went according to plan and I remained under care until the next evening.

Now as of 12/21/23 I am home recovering. It's becoming increasingly apparent to me however that returning to work will be impossible until I'm healed and that will take longer than my initial two week projection.

To that end, I have increased the fundraiser goal from $1400 to $2800 to cover our bills going into January and anticipate further expenses related to my hospitalization.

My wife is currently looking to return to the labor force in my stead but it will be difficult for me to watch the baby in my current predicament so once more, I am reaching out to anyone who can help us through donations here on GoFundMe.
