Bali Brighter Futures- Aid for Youth and Elders

I took a leap of faith and decided to move out of the USA, away from everything and everyone I've ever known. I felt a strong calling to Bali, Indonesia since I was a young teenager. I knew there was something I had to discover here that would be detrimental to my life journey. Little did I know, it would end up being an entire community that would steal my heart and ignite a passion for me.

After a couple weeks here, I was connected with the leader of a children's charity. I packed my bags and left the touristy areas to come volunteer in this small village in the Northern part of the Island.

I was originally going to do this fundraiser for one specific project. However, the longer I've been here and the more I've seen, I have realized this entire community needs aid. It's become heavy on my heart because I want to help everyone, but do not have the resources to do so. It was hard to even come up with a "goal amount" for this because there really is none. I understand that $50,000 is a large amount of money, and a lot could be done with this.. but it will still just barely scrape the surface.

I can't express how much each and every donation means to not only me, but this entire community. Would also like to add that no amount is too small! Anything helps.

When we extend our hands to lift others, we are not merely offering aid; we are reaffirming our shared humanity. Together, we can rewrite the narrative of despair, crafting a story of resilience and empowerment. Let us rise above the divisions that seek to separate us. For in our unity lies our greatest strength—the power to make a difference, one act of kindness at a time.
