BACHOs Bike-A-Thon was a success in March 2021. Thanks to our Sponsors and Donors we broke the goal 4 times. The council was able to raise $8,500 total for our 2 organizations that have People with Intellectual Disabilities. Temecula Valley Council has chosen 9 charities to donate this year and we want to give each Donor/Sponsor their choice what Charity they want to donate to. If he/she decides to not choose it will go into our general fund and be distributed evenly to our charities. Found out ONF (Our Nicholas Foundation) is deactivated and no longer fundraiser, so we changed 8 Charities which includes:
1. HELPING PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES
a. Temecula Westview Vocation Services
b. Temecula Unified School District Bridge & Workability Programs
2. COATS FOR KIDS
3. MICHELLE'S PLACE CANCER RESOURCE CENTER
4. ST. VINCENT DE PAUL (FOOD FOR FAMILIES)
5. AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION
6. WHEELCHAIR FOUNDATION
7. ADOPT A FAMILY (CHRISTMAS)
8. FUNCTIONAL AMPUTEE SUPPORT TEAM (F.A.S.T)
Michael Bacho has reached out to friends and family where he should be cycling from and ending in Temecula. On March 12, 2022 with the assistance of other cyclists and his entourage he will be starting from Petco Park home of the San Diego Padres and will travel up Pacific Coast Hwy to Hwy 76 and head East to cycle parallel to I-15 North to St. Catherine's of Alexandria in Temecula.
So, since we are interested supporting businesses all around the communities; not just Temecula, Michael will market your business by wearing an official Jersey for his ride. There are only 4 options to choose from depending on what sponsorship color level you choose. Your logo can be large to small, Titanium (largest), Gold (medium), & Silver (small) and if you prefer having just your business name there is a Bronze. Please keep this in mind, all his sponsors will be presented to the organizations during their check presentation. Your Logo will be placed on the donation page as well. A Thank You Poster will be provided to each group and for the council’s upcoming fundraiser your Business will be placed in our brochures. Lastly, the council’s Public Relations chair will add you to an Article to be published in “Columbian Magazine.”
Please make your check payable to the TEMECULA VALLEY COUNCIL 9964. Your donation is tax deductible, and a receipt will be sent, upon request. The Knights of Columbus are non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and Section 23701 of the comparable California statutes. For your convenience, the tax id is 03-30968751, but if you prefer getting a tax-id for your chosen charity I will personally reply to your email with a tax-id for you.
