Every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and thrive — but for many children with developmental disabilities, and their families, the right support is often out of reach. Baby Ubuntu is changing that.
Grounded in evidence and shaped by families themselves, Baby Ubuntu brings together caregivers, health workers, and expert parents to provide practical skills, emotional support, and a sense of community during the earliest, most critical years of a child’s life.
Crucially, Baby Ubuntu works within and alongside existing health systems, integrating into primary healthcare services so that support reaches families where they already seek care. By training frontline health workers and partnering with governments, we strengthen local capacity to provide ongoing, family-centred support for children with developmental disabilities and their caregivers.
Through group-based support and trusted local partnerships, Baby Ubuntu helps families build confidence, improve their child’s health and development, and reduce isolation and stigma. With your support, we can reach more children and caregivers with the tools, knowledge, and connection they need, because no family should have to navigate this journey alone.
