Comí Kitchen Collective works out of Agora Raval, turning local food waste into hot meals for the community every Monday. Since July, the team has provided 600 free hot vegan meals, helping build a welcoming, supportive community around shared food.

Our Monday meals are working beautifully, and we hope to expand to additional days to support unhoused and evicted neighbours struggling to access hot, healthy, nutritious food.

To make this possible, we need to cover a few basic costs:

We’re fundraising a modest amount to create a stable base that allows us to be reactive when there have been evictions or communities needing rapid response meals, and to work towards adding a second day of regular hot meals each week. As most of our ingredients are free from food waste, a small investment to cover some basic costs can go a really long way.
