Through our long-standing partnership with Arsenal in the Community, our North London United programme delivers weekly inclusive football sessions, building confidence,
improving wellbeing and creating a genuine sense of belonging for both participants and their families.

For many individuals with Down syndrome (DS), life’s journey becomes more challenging after school or college. Opportunities reduce, social networks narrow, and families are often left navigating limited support on their own. This can lead to isolation, reduced confidence, and uncertainty about the future. Krome21 exists to change that reality by creating pathways that are inclusive, consistent, safe, and designed for long-term development.
BAMN 2026 — By Any Means Necessary — is a community-led fundraising initiative designed to sustain and grow this work. BAMN goes beyond raising funds through GoFundMe; it also brings people together through shared action.
As part of the campaign, our participants, parents, carers, family members, coaches, and invited guests from all our projects will take on the challenge of completing 21 laps around the Emirates Stadium, on Sunday 05th July, 2026, covering approximately 13 km. Participants can take part in whatever way works for them — walking, jogging, running, using a scooter or roller skates, or sharing the distance with family and friends — making it possible for everyone to be involved in a way that reflects their individual abilities.
To protect the safe, supportive and structured environment we have built for our participants, BAMN is currently limited to players, their family, our coaches and invited guests. While participation is intentionally controlled, everyone can still play a part by supporting, donating and sharing the campaign, and as we grow, we will explore how to safely involve a wider audience.

North London United (in partnership with Arsenal in the Community) provides structured, inclusive football sessions that support physical health, teamwork, confidence, and a strong sense of identity and belonging. We take part in competitions, and we also organise the Krome Cup which is 5-a-side football event that invites other DS football teams across London to compete.
WorkEx offers supported pathways into adulthood through structured placements, helping individuals build independence, develop communication skills, and gain real-world experience in safe, supportive environments.
The Gathering brings young people with Down syndrome aged 16+ together through inclusive, community-based social activities that reduce isolation and strengthen connection.
The impact of this work is both immediate and lasting. Participants experience increased confidence, stronger friendships, improved emotional wellbeing, and a greater sense of purpose, while families feel more supported, more connected, and more hopeful about the future. This is what inclusion looks like in practice — not occasional, but consistent, and rooted in a community that understands and supports one another.
