On the week of March 21st, Johnny and I went to Orlando, Florida, to work at our Annual Pet Industry tradeshow. He would usually make his hotel arrangements but decided he wanted to stay with my co-worker and I at our condo for the week. When he arrived on Monday evening, he complained he had a migraine. As the week went on, he continued to complain about his migraine on and off. There were some periods during the week when he had to go back to the room to lay down. However, there were also periods when he went to work and felt fine. Finally, the day before heading home, he did not feel well and laid back down while we went to work. We did not return to the condo until late that night and heard Johnny yelling loudly in his sleep. I checked on him and found him sweating profusely, confused and incoherent. We called 911 and first thought it was dehydration, but the doctor later diagnosed him with severe bleeding and a blood clot in the brain as we were at the hospital. I stayed as long as I was able to until his daughter and son was able to meet me in Orlando. This has been a difficult experience for all of us as we have known and loved Johnny for a very long time. He has always been there for me through the years and I am still processing emotions from recent events. I would like to start this fundraising page to help with travel and hotel expense for his daughter Corrina, and sons Anthony and GC as they will now have to travel back and forth from California to Florida to be with their father, cover some of Johnny's expenses such as rent and bills until his family is able to make some provisions for him, and any other unforeseen circumstances at this time.  His condition is critical and his journey to recovery will be lengthy and uncertain.  Any amount will help his family if you are able, although most importantly, please keep him in your healing prayers.
