This fundraising campaign is aimed at supporting the ongoing construction of much-needed classrooms and facilitation of accessories in the Muhir Cheza Sefer Secondary School, which is located in the Mihurna Akli Woreda of the Gurage Zone in the Central Ethiopian Region and has been in dire need of classrooms for years now.

The school, which is the pioneering secondary school in an area with limited basic services including roads, hospitals, electricity, etc…, has been serving students for over two decades. Although it has been facing various challenges for years, the lack of classrooms has become an insurmountable bottleneck for providing basic academic services.

As a result, many students are being forced to attend schools far away from their families or drop out to work as daily laborers in farms, while many others are forced to migrate to other cities in the region or beyond in search of better job opportunities at a very young age.

Some members of the community have recently started mobilizing support to build a few classrooms, but additional contributions are needed to reach the target and confront this complex problem. We humbly ask for your support to this end as it will have a big impact on the lives of many students, and remain grateful to you in advance in the name of the almighty God and on behalf of all members of the community.

ይህ የገቢ ማሰባሰቢያ ዘመቻ በማዕከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል፣ በጉራጌ ዞን የምሁርና አክሊል ወረዳ ውስጥ ባለውና ለብዙ ዓመታት የመማሪያ ክፍሎችና ቁሳቁስ እጥረት ሲገጥመው በቆየው የምሁር ጨዛ ሠፈር ከፍተኛ 2ተኛ ደረጃ ት/ቤት በመካሄድ ላይ ያለውን የመማሪያ ክፍሎች ግንባታ ለመደግፍ ያለመ ነው።

ይህ አንጋፋ ት/ቤት መንገድ፣ ሆስፒታልና መብራትን ጨምሮ የመሠረታዊ አግልግሎቶች እጥረት ባለበት አካባቢ የመጀመሪያው 2ተኛ ደረጃ ት/ቤት ሆኖ ከሁለት አስርት ዓመታት በላይ ብዙ ተማሪዎችን ሲያገለግል የቆየ ነው። ት/ቤቱ ለዘመናት ተደራራቢ ችግሮች ሲገጥሙት የነበረ ቢሆንም፣ በዋነኝነት ከፍተኛ የሆነ የመማሪያ ክፍሎች እጥረት መኖሩ መሠረታዊ አገልግሎት ለመስጠት ትልቅ ማነቆ ሆኖ ቆይቷል። በዚህ ምክንያት በርካታ ተማሪዎች ከቤተሰቦቻቸው ርቀው ወደ ሌሎች ትምህርት ቤቶች ሄደው ለመማር ወይም ትምህርታቸውን ከናካቴው አቋርጠው በዚያው አካባቢ የጉልበት ሥራ ላይ ለመሰማራት ይገደዳሉ። ብዙዎችም በለጋ እድሜያቸው የተሻለ የሥራ እድል ለማግኘት በሚል ሩቅም ሆነ ቅርብ ወዳሉ ከተሞች ይጓዛሉ።

በቅርቡ አንዳንድ የአካባቢው ተወላጆች አፋጣኝ ድጋፍ በማሰባሰብ የመማሪያ ክፍሎችን ለመገንባት እንቅስቃሴ የጀመሩ ቢሆንም፣ ከችግሩ ትልቀትና ውስብስብነት አንጻር የታሰበውን ለማሳካት ተጨማሪ ድጋፍ አስፈላጊ ሆኗል። የትኛውም መጠን ያለው አስተዋጾ የብዙ ተማሪዎች ሕይወት ላይ ትልቅ ለውጥ የሚያመጣ መሆኑን በመረዳት የበኩልዎን ድጋፍ እንዲያደርጉ በትህትና እየጠየቅን፣ በፈጣሪና በማህበረሰቡ አባላት ስም ለቅን ድጋፍዎ ከወዲሁ ከልብ የመነጨ ምስጋና እናቀርባለን።
