Arif Khan's London Marathon 2024

Hi everyone!

I'm Arif Khan, a bus driver from Oxford driving for the Oxford Bus Company, and I'm thrilled to be running the 2024 London Marathon in support of Oxford Cancer Research UK, a charity very close to my heart.

Last year, I had the incredible experience of participating in the London Marathon for the first time. The atmosphere was electric, and the support from the crowds was truly phenomenal. While I fell a little short of my initial goal (those pesky damp conditions!), crossing the finish line in 2 hours, 48 minutes and 21 seconds was an amazing accomplishment, and one I'm incredibly proud of.

This year, I'm back and even more determined to push myself further and again, with the support of Oxford Bus Company who have been simply incredible in providing a running kit and specialised training tech. Very grateful for their support!

But more importantly, I'm running to raise vital funds for Oxford Cancer Research UK. Their dedication to cancer research and improving patient outcomes is truly inspiring, and I want to do my part to support their lifesaving work.
