Anthony "Emo" Bobkovich Family Fundraiser

Donation protected
My younger brother Anthony "Emo" Bobkovich lost his 5 month battle with Esophageal cancer on May 25, 2022, at the age of 51, surrounded by his siblings and wife while in hospice care. Emo was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer the week before Christmas and chemotherapy started immediately. Even though the prognosis was not promising, Emo remained positive until the end as we all prayed for a miracle. Unfortunately, that miracle never came. The love, support and generosity that the family was surrounded with during this battle was amazing and we can never thank you all enough for being a part of this short journey. Although it was difficult physically for him the entire time, he always perked up when he had visitors. Emo didn't have a mean bone in his body, he was the epitome of a hardworking, family man. Always there to lend a hand for a house project. Many of us had the pleasure of seeing his incredible skill in many of our homes. A job well done was the only payment that mattered to him. The unfortunate part of the story is that he was the sole provider for his family. He didn't have any life insurance and Darcy has been unable to work due to some of her own health issues. The goal of this fundraiser is to provide Darcy with some comfort these next few months as she and Lincoln heal and adjust to their new normal. Providing some financial help with final expenses and living expenses for the next few months will allow Darcy some time to step back and take a breath from the emotional journey she has been on and focus on planning life for her and her children. She will have many challenges and decisions to make over the coming months, and taking some of the financial burdens off of her shoulders will be a tremendous help. Emo was an amazing brother, husband, father, cousin, uncle and friend to us all. As he looks down on his family, let's show him and his family how much we have loved and appreciated his short time with us. Godspeed my brother, you are loved and missed by so many already.
