Every young person deserves somewhere they belong.
Typically, throughout history it has been the creatives and the out-of-the-box thinkers that have changed the world; they are the pioneers, the disrupters, the future leaders. They just need a place where they can grow and thrive in order to develop into all they can become, and that is what we have created.
Imagine being a young person who struggles to fit into mainstream education. Maybe you're autistic, have ADHD, Tourette's, anxiety, a physical disability, or you just haven’t found your tribe within the mainstream schooling system.
At Amplify SW CIC our students feel they have finally found a place they feel fully accepted, they have made friends, built confidence and greatly improved their quality of life and future prospects.
We are a fully inclusive, completely free DJ and electronic music school based in Cornwall, supporting young people aged 11–18.
We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to discover their potential.
The Need Has Never Been Greater
Across England, more than 126,000 children are now being educated outside of mainstream school, and in Cornwall alone there are over 2,200 children registered in elective home education. These numbers continue to grow, demonstrating an increasing need for safe, inclusive spaces where young people can learn, socialise and build confidence.
Many of the young people we support are neurodivergent, have additional needs or struggle in traditional educational settings. Creative activities like music give them an opportunity to express themselves, build practical skills and become part of a supportive community.
The Impact Your Donation Will Make
Our programme already has everything it needs to change lives.
We own all of our DJ equipment.
We have experienced tutors.
We have the young people who need us.
What we need now is the funding to keep delivering the sessions.
Each year we provide:
• 44 weeks of free DJ sessions
• Over 440 free session places for young people
• Safe, inclusive sessions for 11–18-year-olds
• A welcoming environment where every young person is accepted exactly as they are
Every pound raised goes directly towards delivering these sessions.
Why We're Asking For Help
Thanks to National Lottery funding, we've been able to provide this life-changing service free of charge for local families for the last two years.
That funding has now come to an end.
We now need to raise £30,000 to secure another full year of delivery.
This covers the essential costs of running the sessions, including professional tutors, venue hire, insurance and programme delivery.
Everyone behind Amplify CIC continues to give their time because we believe every young person deserves access to opportunities like this
Looking Beyond Toda
Our ambition doesn't stop with keeping the doors open
We want to create a permanent creative education hub, where young people can learn not only DJing and music production, but also entrepreneurship, business, social media, content creation and other creative industry skills
Alongside music, we hope to introduce wellbeing activities, creative workshops and mentoring that help young people build confidence, resilience and brighter futures
This campaign is the first step towards making that vision a reality and ensuring that the young people we are already helping do not lose this vital service
How You Can Hel
Whether you can donate £5 or £500, every contribution brings us closer to keeping this incredible project alive
If you're unable to donate today, you can still make a huge difference by sharing this page with your friends, family, workplace and social media
Together, we can ensure that hundreds of young people across Cornwall continue to have a place where they feel accepted, inspired and empowered to build brighter futures
