I have a dream

A dream to embolden those that have been written off by the many,

lacking the confidence and environment that would end their chronic cycle of homelessness.

The path forward will be a divergence of epic proportions from the current system. One in which opportunity is earned, not given.

A dramatic departure from warehousing individuals hopping for a hand out, not a hand up!

I see an environmental opportunity to create an incubator like setting. Where creativity is encouraged, where responsibility is paramount, and success is rewarded! Incentives being the levers that slowly restores dignity and empowers the participants through opportunity while providing a democratic platform to adopt the rules and regulations within their domain.

Through organizational efforts participants will have the opportunity to donate time to offset housing, food and related expenses if they’re unable to pay their way. Community projects, even if unfunded, will serve to build goodwill within the community.

Upon successful completion of phase 1 most candidates will be invited to participate in phase two.

Full Disclosure-

The entirety of the aforementioned will start as a beta program. Myself and two other participants will work to diligently implement the framework of this endeavor. Initial monies will be applied to housing, select office equipment and promotional efforts once details have been established.

Currently this entity is nothing more than a dream inspired by current and past experiences that make this endeavor dear to my heart.

The end goal of this project is to slowly change the way in which participants perceive themselves and others through positive experiences. Those that complete Phase 2 will have saved enough money to secure housing that’s within their budget.

While these efforts will require some donations for certain milestones once it reaches 100 or more people it’s expansion will be self funded as it will be a going concern with the ability to secure loans.

In this dream I see a model that will revolutionize the way in which the industry operates! Goodbye to the bottomless pits that incentivizes a hand out and hello to one that incentivizes a hand-up!
