Save my family from Gaza

We are a family from Gaza, and we were displaced to a tent in south Al Mawasi after losing everything we owned due to the violent bombing that destroyed our home and businesses—since the 2025 ceasefire we have returned to our wrecked home. Our lives have turned into hell, and we are suffering greatly under extremely harsh conditions.

My name is Amaar and I have a wife Amal and three children who are dear to my heart:
- Hind, the eldest, is 14 years old and suffers from diabetes that was caused by psychological trauma and fear from previous wars. Hind needs continuous treatment and medical follow-up to ensure her health.
- Ahmed, 9 years old, watches his family’s suffering and feels constant anxiety about securing food and the life he desires. Every day, Ahmed wishes he could return to the days of peace.
- Yousef, the youngest, is 6 years old, and he always talks about the toys and food he dreams of, and he misses his home and his previous toys very much. He was injured in April when we were in Rafah because a solar panel fell on him when he was playing with the kids near our tent.

We are now without any source of income, and it is almost impossible for us to meet our simplest needs. Every moment that passes is a real suffering, and our children are suffering greatly from this difficult situation.

I want to seek asylum for my family outside the country, but at the same time I need to afford daily expenses, especially for the treatment of my daughter Hind. She needs to check her blood sugar 7 times a day and take insulin doses about 5 times. The funds raised will first go to this, as well as to the other expenses of surviving in this war on Gaza, including food, winter clothes, and other basic necessities. The other large part of these funds are hoped to be raised for evacuation.

We thank you deeply for your interest and support. Even $1 makes a difference.

Breakdown of how funds will be used:

Evacuation fees, which are not totally predictable; done through Egyptian company Hala Tourism & Transportation Services which is the only possible route (may be different now that ceasefire is starting to take effect):

upwards of $5,000 per adult, x 2 = $10,000~$20,000upwards of $3,000 per child, x 3 = $9,000+Subtotal: $19,000~$29,000+

Medicine & other basic necessities:

insulin ~$450 per month$1 blood glucose examination strip x 7 per day = ~$217 per monthmonthly laboratory tests for sugar & other analyses $120Monthly subtotal: $787 per monthSubtotal for fundraiser goal: $787 per month x 8~12 months (hopefully generous time estimate as hopefully we won't be in this hell that much longer) = $6,296~$9,444All other basic necessities including food, clothes, soap, etc. can be considered to account for the remainder of the fundraiser goal.
