A Place To Call Home

It's not about a building, it's about the people... but the people need a place

Since 2003 the charity Rooted In have provided a place of belonging, welcome and encouragement for thousands of children, young people and families in Allerton & Lower Grange, Bradford.

This has all been done by packing things in cars or back packs, checking in to various schools, community centers, gardens and car parks. We have turned up and setup anywhere we could to make things work.

But the time has come for something more permanent, somewhere we can shape with the community to make a home for all we do.

Working with The Church of England we will renovate the Vicarage to be this place!

It is a beautiful building that will present so much opportunity for people to get involved and be part of shaping the future of our community.

We see this building being a hub for the community where we can deliver children's and youth activities, trauma thpay services, employment support, enterprise and business development as well as providing an affordable rented home in the top floor.
