Support Alec's Eagle Scout Project

Hi everyone,            
       I’m Alec Price and I am a Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 45 in Winchester, Virginia.  I am working on my Eagle Scout Project.  I plan to build a greenhouse for Sacred Heart Academy and Parish in Winchester, VA. The greenhouse will provide a controlled environment where students can practice hands-on gardening to learn more about science and their environment.      
          The greenhouse can be used for science fair experiments or other classroom assignments. All classes can help grow vegetables that can be used in the school cafeteria or donated to charities. Flowers can also be grown and used by the school/church or donated. The school can also start tree saplings that could later be planted to save the Parish money on future landscaping.
      The planned greenhouse structure will be prefabricated and allow the school the ability to move the structure if needed for future expansion. It will be made from low maintenance materials that will withstand weather and have a warranty. The location will be behind the school to allow easy access to water and provide windshield. I would like to complete the project by the end of June, 2018.
       Over the last few months I have been collecting donations from area businesses and now I am reaching out to family and friends. Please consider making a donation to help this greenhouse become a reality.  No amount is too small!
