Help Jalal's Family in Gaza

Donation protected
Hello all, my name is Layth, and I am raising funds to aid my family in Gaza. I am a college student, and my family does not have the means to support our own family here in the U.S., so we need your help. Although I have never been to Gaza, I know my family; they are humble, kind, modest, and resilient. We have lost many over the years, but nothing compares to what Jalal and his family have experienced since October 7th. Any help would be appreciated, we have to help little Sham, she is 6. Below is their story and their message.

Note 4/28/25: due to U.S and Israeli policy and the illegal blockade, aid cannot enter legally, thus we are stockpiling whatever money we can and sending it when aid and funds are allowed inside the Gaza Strip. This is a request by Jalal and his family that we keep this up and continue to raise funds.

Hello Friends,

My name is Jalal, and I am from Gaza; I am from Jabalia, and we are stuck here, we have been forced to march from the North to the South and back to the North on multiple occasions. I am a 44-year-old father of three lovely children. We are suffering immensely from this genocide, and we are still under siege. I cannot raise the funds alone to get my family to safety. I want this story to resonate with you so that you all may support us and help out and reach a point to where we can rebuild our lives in the near future God-Willing. In this holocaust every minute counts for our survival.

Our home, along with all of our neighborhood, was destroyed. We had to leave everything we had behind to live. We have been displaced countless times and continue to do so to avoid death and destruction. As you may know, no place is safe; in the summer, we experienced extreme heat and exhaustion, and in the winter, our tents flood, and we cannot find anywhere dry to go. On top of this, we have no resources for hygiene or medicine. I swear to you, if we don't die from the bombs, we very likely will die from diseases and illnesses. With the similar but more severe Imperial Policies under Trump, the U.S wants to displace us from our already established displacement camps and tents in Gaza to non-Palestinian Lands, we cannot let this happen, we have lost too much.

We are a large family of 8, and I can no longer provide for them myself; I need help. My family consists of my mom, Neama, who is 66 years old, and my two sisters, Abrar, who is 26, and Ayat, who is 32. I am also seeking help for my wife Taghreed, who is 38, and my three little angels, Yazan, who is 10, Zain, who is 8, and Sham, who is 6. All of us live in one tent, and as I have shared, our conditions change daily, and our suffering doesn't stop.

Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart to support us and help with our costs, which are ungodly and unaffordable. The situation has deteriorated so much that we can no longer safely exist in our homeland and country. I do not want to lose my family, and I want them to survive and be able to continue on and your community’s money will aid our family in the near future.

My entire family and I are so grateful for everything and anything you can give us. Your aid and donations will help us; no matter how small it is, you can make a difference in our lives.

With gratitude and appreciation,

Jalal Tlouli and my family
