Advocacy4TI Fundraiser for TI & Related Nonprofit

For nearly a year, I’ve been volunteering with a group of brave whistleblowers and, most recently, with other targeted individuals. These individuals have risked everything to shed light on injustices within our government, military, and society as a whole, and the toll they’ve paid is steep. Targeted individuals face daily physical and mental stress and anxiety, family issues, isolation, financial ruin, and life threatening harassment on a daily basis—all of which are consequences of speaking someone's truth.

Myself and a few others are planning to create a nonprofit organization that provides various types of resources to targeted individuals, including different legal resources, mental health resources, employment resources and various self-help type resources, etc.; however, in the meantime, I am attempting to raise $6,000, with the proceeds being split between the 3 targeted individuals/whistleblowers who are assisting with the organization and creation of our nonprofit. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to help these 3 individuals access basic needs over the holiday months, as we really begin to focus our efforts on setting up the nonprofit organization, with any additional funds being used towards costs and fees associated with creating and running a nonprofit.

Your donation, no matter the size, makes an enormous difference and helps restore dignity and support to those who have sacrificed so much to speak the truth. Together, we can show these individuals that they’re not alone—and that there are people willing to stand with them in the fight for justice.

Initial Fundraiser Description (11/2 thru 11/7/24), as I do an annual fundraiser each year for my birthday: Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, I’m no stranger to fundraising for causes close to my heart. Over the years, I’ve raised funds to support Alzheimer’s research, veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, and survivors of domestic violence—people who face unimaginable struggles in a world that often turns a blind eye. This year, for my birthday, I’m asking for your support in a cause that’s deeply personal to me.

For nearly a year, I’ve been volunteering with a group of brave whistleblowers. These individuals have risked everything to shed light on injustices within our government and military, and the toll they’ve paid is steep. They face daily harassment, family issues, isolation, and financial ruin. Many have lost their clearances or have been placed on “do not hire” lists, preventing these individuals from receiving income to support their families and young children—all consequences of speaking the truth. Like so many others, whistleblowers often face challenges that mirror specifically survivors of domestic violence: isolation, financial hardship, and a lack of support.

While my plan is to open a nonprofit organization in the future, I’m hosting a GoFundMe this year because there is not a specific organization I’m supporting. Rather, I’m raising funds to directly support individuals I personally work with and who I know need all the assistance they can get. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to help them access basic needs, legal support, and the resources necessary to rebuild their lives. Your donation, no matter the size, makes an enormous difference and helps restore dignity and support to those who have sacrificed so much to speak the truth.
