Hello Again Friends and Family,

The donations and contributions were an incredible help. As the recovery has continued it has also changed a bit. The community is looking to develop farming sustainability. The Accompong has a heritage of being an independent community of escaped slaves. In the recovery the Jamaican government has not provided the same support it has for other regions of Jamaica. The Accompong is in St. Elizabeth Parish one the hardest hit areas of Hurricane Melissa.

The community is looking to create a more sustainable farming and economic zones in Jamaica. Sheldon Wallace's community leadership is vital for this development. And is working to make this happen.
