AVIXA Women's Council Diaper Drive

In a recent SoCal Council meeting we selected a charity to support for the holidays. We debated several options, but ultimately decided on supporting the MOMS Orange County Holiday Giving Program. As a Council we’ve always made it a goal to give back to the community. We decided to start a Diaper Drive campaign, and a few Council members from Spinitar stepped up and connected us with MOMS Orange County. The holidays are stressful enough. Imagine not being in a position to provide diapers or clothing for your baby. 

For more than 25 years, MOMS Orange County (a 501(c)3 non-profit organization) has provided free access to prenatal care, health screenings, infant development screenings, health education and referral services through monthly home visits and group classes. MOMS Orange County serves between 2,500-3,000 families (about 2,000 babies) each year.  At any given time, they see about 1,000 pregnant/parenting mothers and their babies in their home visitation program. MOMS helps support families’ basic needs through inspiring giving events. Every single donation makes a big impact. Working together means they can give babies the best possible start.
