Deep Roots, Bright Futures:
Help Build a Home for ADAPT Youth Arts Center
Goal: $250,000
Help Us Give Young Bay Area Artists a Forever Home
Every young person deserves a space where their imagination can take flight, their confidence can take hold, and their creative voice is valued.
Founder and creator J-Red developed a youth arts camp Arts Development And Performance Theatre (ADAPT), and for over a decade it has been a safe haven where Bay Area youth discover their voice, build character, and shine through the power of the arts becoming the next generation of creative leaders.
Mission & Vision
At Arts Development And Performance Theatre (ADAPT), our mission is to empower youth and enrich our community through immersive live showcases and transformative programs. We provide a safe, inclusive environment where campers build lasting friendships, discover their unique creative talents, and cultivate lifelong self-confidence.
Through hands-on exploration in the arts, we are guiding the next generation of resilient, self-assured community leaders. To expand our impact and provide year-round stability, we are seeking to secure a permanent facility in the Bay Area: the ADAPT Youth Arts Center. With your support, we can continue offering this life-changing experience to every child who walks through our doors.
We have seen firsthand how artistic expression transforms lives through ADAPT.
Now, we are reaching a critical turning point—and we need your help to plant deep roots.
To deepen our impact and serve our community for generations to come, our camp needs a permanent place to call home – ADAPT Youth Arts Center. ADAPT is officially launching our digital footprint and capital campaign: Deep Roots, Bright Futures.
Why This Campaign Matters
For our program to expand and thrive, our goal is to secure a dedicated building in the Bay Area and funding for the critical foundational groundwork required for a permanent facility.
A permanent home means more than just four walls and a roof—it provides:
- Dedicated Creative Spaces: Tailored rehearsal for theatre, dance, vocal training, film production, performance, and studio areas for young artists.
- Year-Round Stability: Moving beyond temporary rentals so we can expand programming and serve Bay Area youth continuously.
- A Safe Haven: A consistent, nurturing sanctuary where our young people can put down deep roots, develop life skills, and build bright futures.
Now Through Giving Tuesday: Our Foundational Launch
Campaign Goal: $250,000 – From today through Giving Tuesday 2026, the monies raised during this launch will support three core pillars:
- Facility Acquisition: Initial steps toward securing a permanent physical building in 2027.
- Foundational Work: Setting up functional, safe, accessible and kid friendly workspaces where ADAPT youth can build props, design sets, and learn technical theatre trades.
- Expanded Access: Opening wider doors for young artists across our community through new scholarship funding at ADAPT.
