Help Fund ADA Restroom in Holland VFW
Post 2144 has been helping veterans in Holland and western Michigan since 1931. It's time to update our post's facilities to accommodate the men and women who need a little extra help.
We have created this page to help us fund a restroom renovation. The two existing restrooms in the front of our building will be converted into one large ADA accessible unisex bathroom. This bathroom will be equipped with handrails, a lower sink basin, and a new ADA compliant toilet. The funds raised will pay the cost of combining the two rooms, enlarging the doorway, purchasing materials, and labor.
3.8 million. The number of veterans with a service-connected disability rating in 2014. Of this number, 1.1 million had a rating of 70 percent or higher.
