ACR Saturday Night Cabin Fever

Donation protected
Athlone Community Radio not-for-profit organisation needs funds to keep its services going. Join us at 8pm on Saturday May 2nd for a fun "Saturday Night Cabin Fever" quiz! It will be broadcast live on 88.4fm, and will also be accessible through the TuneIn Radio App, through our website at www.athlonecommunityradio.ie/listen-live/, and through Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/acr884.

In these unprecedented times, we are heavily reliant on public donations. We usually also source funds through advertising,  sponsorship, training, and summer camps which are not available to us at this time. The current crisis has meant that our funding sources have disappeared. This money is needed to keep the station running. Your donations pay our bills; the absence of them may result in the very real possibility of the closure of this station.

Since 2007, we have been dedicated to serving the community as a communication tool, and we provide training in broadcasting skills to all staff and volunteers. We are YOUR community access radio station and we are committed to providing a programme schedule that reflects the ethos of community broadcasting, reflecting the needs and interests of the community we serve. Our programme schedule is designed to provide a broad spectrum of programmes particularly intended to inform, educate and entertain and to also serve the needs of disadvantaged, marginalised and isolated groups and individuals. We do this by providing programmes ranging from cultural and heritage, current affairs and sport, Irish language and the arts, with programmes for children to the elder members of our community.

Athlone Community Radio is committed to the local community and is accessible to all within the community.  We are committed to providing a
unique service that aims to educate, inform and entertain.

For the past thirteen years, Athlone Community Radio has been a successful community project engaging with, and enriching the lives of, thousands of members of this community. Please help us to survive this crisis, while having fun with your family, by joining us at 8pm on Saturday, May 2nd for "Saturday Night Cabin Fever" quiz! 88.4fm, the TuneIn Radio App, www.athlonecommunityradio.ie/listen-live, and Facebook Live www.facebook.com/acr884.
