Hi everyone, I’m Bella!
I’ve had the privilege of working at the ABC concession stand since I was a teenager. Over the last 8 years, I’ve seen firsthand the impact ABC Ballpark has on our community. It’s more than just a place for sports; it’s a gathering space where families come together, friendships are built, and generations stay connected.
As a not-for-profit youth ballpark located in St. Ann, Missouri, ABC has always been focused on serving the community. Through my time working in the concession stand, I’ve had the opportunity to meet countless familiar faces: parents who once played here themselves now bringing their children, and visitors who return year after year because this park holds a special place in their lives.
As we celebrate ABC’s 75th anniversary, we’re hoping to make meaningful improvements that will help ensure the park continues to serve the community for years to come. This fundraiser is focused on updating the inside of the concession stand to improve safety, efficiency, and overall operations.
Upgrading the concession stand will allow us to better serve our visitors during games and events, reduce delays during busy times, and maintain a clean, functional space for both volunteers and customers. It will also help free up resources so that other areas of the park can continue to be maintained and improved.
ABC Ballpark hosts a variety of events throughout the season, including well-attended ones like Cops vs. Kids, local tournaments, and youth games that draw families from across the area. During these events, the concession stand plays a key role in keeping things running by serving players, families, and volunteers efficiently while supporting the overall park experience.
Maintaining and improving the concession stand allows us to keep up with the demands of busy game days, reduce wait times, and continue providing a reliable service that visitors depend on when they come to the park.
Here is a general breakdown of how the funds will be used:
- Drink coolers (2)
- Grill and stand
- Cash registers (ideally 3)
- Tile flooring improvements
