I am creating a fund for my brother Andres Badillo in his mission to bring the word of God to people through missions to Spanish speaking countries. Andres has put everything he has into leading these missions, including paying for most of the costs out of pocket. Now, I am starting an effort to give back to him. His talents are too valuable to be limited by his own personal income. My goal is to raise approximately $4000; this should be enough to cover the Badillo family’s costs for the mission that Andres leads to Colombia, including to Bogotá, Santa Marta, and Bucaramanga. Andres and his wife are Colombia natives and I would love for him to be able to take his family without the pressure of having to pay out of pocket. This amount should be enough to pay for the four of them for flights, lodging, and domestic transportation.

If there are any remaining funds, or if through the grace of generosity we are able to raise more than the goal, I would like to bring Andres on a mission I have recently been involved with to an orphanage in Mexico. Not only would Andres be an extremely valuable member of this team, but I believe seeing the way that this organization has grown and operated over the years, and taking some of that back to the other missions that he leads, would be a great benefit to those organizations as well.

I would like to keep this effort a secret from the Badillo family, if at all possible. The Badillos give so much to serve Singing Oaks and the people of God’s kingdom, and I would love it if we could surprise them by showing support back to them. They have never asked anything in return for the work they do, but rather do it purely out of love.
