Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Richmond neighbors have come together to organize this fundraiser to help 2 families in need. Two mothers with small children including a 5-month-old have been tragically separated from some of their family members. As a result, they have been thrust into a situation of not having any breadwinners in their household to pay rent, utilities, and the most basic of family needs.

We know that we take care of our own, and as such, we are hoping you will help these two mothers get on their feet by donating and sharing this fundraiser with your networks. We are hoping to fundraise enough to give them time to find jobs and to stay housed at the same time. Not only do they need help with rent, utilities, and phone access, but they also need to buy food, diapers, and other hygiene necessities.

Your kindness will go a very long way in helping our neighbors find stable footing that will in turn ensure that their children are properly taken care of so our neighbors can do more than simply survive this tragedy, but will be able to thrive in the future.

Cómo vecinos aquí de Richmond nos hemos unido para organizar esta recaudación de fondos y ayudar a dos familias que ahora se encuentran necesitadas. Dos madres con niños pequeños, incluyendo uno de 5 meses, han sido trágicamente separadas de algunos de sus familiares. Como resultado, se han visto en la situación de no tener un sostén familiar para pagar el alquiler, los servicios públicos y las necesidades básicas de la familia.

Sabemos que comunidad nos apoyamos unos a los otros, así que esperamos que puedan ayudar a estas dos madres a salir adelante donando y compartiendo esta recaudación de fondos con sus redes. Esperamos recaudar fondos suficientes para que tengan tiempo de encontrar trabajo y, al mismo tiempo, puedan mantener su hogar. No solo necesitan ayuda con el alquiler, los servicios públicos y el teléfono, sino que también necesitan comprar comida, pañales y otros artículos de higiene personal. Su generosidad será de gran ayuda para que nuestros vecinos encuentren una base estable que a la vez garantizará que sus hijos estén bien cuidados para que nuestros vecinos puedan hacer más que simplemente sobrevivir a esta tragedia, sino que también puedan prosperar en el futuro.
