Dear Supporters and Well-Wishers,

We are Randa, Saed, and our son , Abed Al-Rahman, reaching out today to tell you more about our story. After living over seven months in Gaza and lived the war and losing everything, our home, our pharmacy (which was the only source of income), and our car, and we still drew in our debts, we were able to leave Gaza to Egypt one month ago.

Still, leaving Gaza was a difficult decision, one filled with guilt and heartache, knowing that we couldn't secure enough funds to evacuate the rest of our family members.

Who is still in Gaza?

First, I am Randa, and I will talk about my eldest and dearest sister, Rana, and her family. Rana is not just my sister. Since our mother passed away, she has taken on the role of a mother. When I delivered my son Abed Al-Rahman, Rana supported me every step. She spent her night at the hospital taking care of me, and the first bath that my son took was by her. Her presence made the joy of motherhood even more special.

Her love extended to the rest of the family; I remember during the war, our sister Haneen (who evacuated Gaza too) had a severe and major surgery, and again, Rana was there to support her, ensuring that Haneen had everything until her full recovery.

Rana and her husband Mohammed have four wonderful children: Luna, 16; Abdullah, 17; Yousef, 15; and Lana, 11. They have all been through unimaginable hardships, fleeing and evacuating their beloved home several times due to the ongoing conflict. At one point, they were living in a tent, and now they reside in their partially destroyed and uninhabitable home, struggling to find clean water and barely getting enough food.

Every day away from them feels like a weight on my heart, a constant reminder of the sacrifices and challenges faced by those we love. I now must care for Rana and her family, just as she has cared for us for many years. They deserve safety, security, and the chance to build a better future.

Second, My name is Saeed, and I am Randa's husband. I want to talk with you about my family, who are still in Gaza, too, facing all these devastating circumstances. My father, Abed Al-Motti; My mother, Mona; My two sisters, Rana and Samah; and my beloved brother, Yasser. My family lives in danger, can't find safety, moving from one place to another in trying to find safety; they are in a real struggle to find food and water. They live with the haunting fear of the unknown and every day, there is a fight to keep things somewhat normal while they are in the middle of chaos.

Separation from family is a daily struggle filled with worry and longing. Abed Al-Rahman misses the warmth of his grandmother's hugs, his grandfather's fun, and the laughter he shared with his aunts and uncles. Their absence leaves a void that is impossible to fill. My parents and siblings mean the world to me. The distance and uncertainty weigh heavily on me and Randa every day. Abed Al-Rahman misses them, and it's heartbreaking to see him longing for their presence.

Randa shares, "Mona and Abed-Motti have been like my second parents. Their love and support have been a pillar of strength for our family. The thought of Abed Al-Rahman growing up without them by his side is unbearable."

Permits for 11 persons: $50,000

Transportation and other evacuation expenses: $2000 (1000$ each family)

Living expenses for three months in Egypt: $10,000 (5000$ each family)

Nous sommes Randa, Saed, et notre fils Abed Al-Rahman, et nous vous contactons aujourd'hui pour vous tenir informés sur notre histoire. Quitter Gaza était une décision tellement difficile, remplie de culpabilité et de chagrin, car nous n'avons pas pu réunir suffisamment de fonds pour évacuer le reste de notre famille et avons donc dû les laisser derrière nous.

Qui est encore à Gaza ?

Tout d'abord, je suis Randa, et je vais vous parler de ma sœur aînée et très chère, Rana, ainsi que de sa famille. Rana n'est pas seulement ma sœur car depuis le décès de notre maman, elle a assumé le rôle de mère. Lors de la naissance de mon fils Abed Al-Rahman, Rana m'a soutenue à chaque étape. Elle a passé ses nuits à l'hôpital à prendre soin de moi, et c'est elle qui a donné le premier bain à mon fils. Sa présence a rendu la joie de la maternité encore plus spéciale.

Ainsi, son amour s'est étendu au reste de la famille. Je me souviens que pendant la guerre, notre sœur Haneen (qui a aussi évacué Gaza) a subi une intervention chirurgicale majeure, et encore une fois, Rana était là pour la soutenir, veillant à ce que, notre sœur, Haneen, ait tout ce dont elle avait besoin jusqu'à son rétablissement complet.

Rana et son mari Mohammed ont quatre enfants merveilleux : Luna, 16 ans ; Abdullah, 17 ans ; Yousef, 15 ans ; et Lana, 11 ans. Ils ont tous traversé des épreuves inimaginables, fuyant et évacuant leur maison à plusieurs reprises à cause de la guerre. À un moment donné, ils vivaient dans une tente, et maintenant ils sont retournés dans leur maison partiellement détruite et inhabitable, luttant chaque jour pour trouver de l'eau potable et ayant à peine assez de nourriture.

Chaque jour qui passe, le fardeau sur mon cœur devient de plus en plus lourd, me rappelant constamment les sacrifices et les défis auxquels sont confrontés nos proches. Maintenant, je dois veiller sur Rana et sa famille, tout comme elle l'a toujours fait pour nous pendant de nombreuses années. Ils méritent la sécurité, la sûreté et la chance de construire un avenir meilleur.

Ensuite, je suis Saeed, le mari de Randa et je souhaite partager avec vous la situation de ma famille qui est toujours à Gaza, exposée à des circonstances dévastatrices. Mon père, Abed Al-Motti ; ma mère, Mona ; mes deux sœurs, Rana et Samah ; ainsi que mon frère bien-aimé, Yasser, vivent dans un état de danger constant. Ils n’arrivent pas à trouver un refuge, se déplaçant d'un endroit à un autre dans l'espoir de trouver un abri. La recherche de nourriture et d'eau est une lutte quotidienne, et la peur de l'inconnu les hante chaque jour. Ils font de leur mieux pour maintenir une certaine normalité dans un environnement chaotique.

Chaque jour, Randa et moi-même sommes accablés par la séparation et l'incertitude pour leur future. Abed Al-Rahman les manque profondément, et c'est déchirant de le voir aspirer à leur présence.

Randa partage : "Mona et Abed-Motti sont comme mes seconds parents. Leur amour inconditionnel et leur soutien sans faille était un pilier de force pour notre famille. La simple pensée qu'Abed Al-Rahman grandisse sans eux à ses côtés est insupportable."

couple from Gaza, are enduring unimaginable hardships with their eight-month-old son, Abed Al-Rahman, who has spent the majority of his tender life amidst the horrors of war.

Before the conflict, they cherished a tranquil existence, managing their own pharmacy. Yet, the war has cruelly robbed them of their home, car, and livelihood, leaving them with nothing but memories of a life now shattered.

Adding to their anguish, little Abed Al-Rahman requires vital essentials such as diapers, milk, and nutritious food. However, the exorbitant prices in Gaza have rendered these basic necessities beyond their reach.

Driven by a parent's unwavering love, Randa and Saeed are urgently seeking to evacuate from Gaza, desperate to provide a safe haven for their baby boy. Yet, their hopes hinge on crossing the Rafah border into Egypt, a journey fraught with financial barriers they cannot surmount alone.

We implore your compassionate assistance to raise funds to cover the costs of their permits and related expenses. Each contribution, no matter the size, will directly support this family's quest for safety and security.

However, a permit to cross into Egypt costs USD 5500 per person.

We urgently appeal to you for their permit costs (and crowdfunding fees) All the money will be used to pay for the permits/coordination to ensure safe passage for them out of Gaza to Egypt.
