Sadaqah Jariyah for my Grandmother
Donation protected
My name is Halima (Sara Mohamed) and I want to build a masjid in my late grandma’s name.
My grandma Batuulo Ali Elmi was born in colonised Mogadishu, Somalia in 1920s and passed away in 1988 in the Middle East. She spent her most of her adult life mothering and care giving. After raising her own children she then went on to raise her grandchildren to adulthood. She was kind, caring and most loving person. She is the reason I am who I am today. She was a charitable person who looked after her local community including widows, the poor and orphans. I really want to build a masjid in her name as sadaqah jariyah. By the will and mercy of Allah some family members and I have managed to buy a plot of land. The building process is costly and we really would appreciate support on this journey. Our target is £20,000 for the completion of the masjid. Invest in this fruitful opportunity and donate what you can.
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow's nest for Allah or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."
Sunan Ibn Majah 738
We have a direct connection to our beloved Shaykh Mohamed Ahmed who is overseeing the development of the masjid building. We are in constant contact with him and he provides with pictures and video updates. We plan to visit the site ourselves in near future inshallah. We appreciate the time you have taken out to read this and contribute to our cause, BarakAllah feekum
