Community Dance Studio

Hello,

As we are aware times were extremely difficult for all during the pandemic, small businesses took a crucial hit! Miss Krystal’s dance studio located in Chestertown, NY opened 12 years ago and was at a high point of success with over 150 students prior to 2020. Since the reopening after the pandemic, maintaining the business, rebuilding and regrowing has been tough with only aprox. 30 students returning. Miss Krystal does believe that the dance community will continue to grow back and the studio will be full of lively students once again. The challenge is making it through now until then! This business did not receive any PPP loans throughout the entire recession as those loans ran out extraordinarily fast and went to many larger businesses. We hope to have the dance studio in the area for years to come and have faith that this harsh time will pass!
