Alex is a 17-year-old high school senior from Lacey Township, NJ, known for his kindness, work ethic, and quiet determination. He balances school, sports, and a part-time job, and is on track to earn his Associate Degree from Ocean County College at the same time he graduates high school. Alex has big dreams and has worked tirelessly toward a bright future.
In January 2026, those plans were suddenly put on hold when Alex was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). Doctors discovered a large mediastinal mass, and he was immediately admitted to the hospital to begin intensive chemotherapy.
Despite the fear and uncertainty of a life-changing diagnosis, Alex continues to show incredible strength and resilience. His parents, **Dan and Maryanne—both public school teachers who have spent their lives giving back to their community—**remain by his side every step of the way as they support their son and navigate the emotional and financial challenges of this journey.
This GoFundMe was created to help ease the overwhelming and unexpected expenses related to Alex’s treatment and to give friends, family, and the community a way to come together in support of Alex and his family as he focuses on healing and moving forward.
