<div>In January 2026, those plans were suddenly put on hold when Alex was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). Doctors discovered a large mediastinal mass, and he was immediately admitted to the hospital to begin intensive chemotherapy.
