Assalaamu Alaykum,

My name is Amina, and I am raising funds in honour of my father who has recently been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. This has been a major shock to me and my family, with the latest update from doctors being that he may only have a few months left to live.

My father has always been the heart of our family. He is a kind, selfless man who always put others before himself. Knowing that our time with him now may potentially be very limited, this has made me reflect deeply on how best to honour him and keep his legacy alive, and attain as many good deeds on his behalf as possible.

I would love for us all to come together with the intention to invest in a Sadaqah Jariyah that will benefit people long after he has returned to Allah. I hope that this will be a means of ongoing reward for him in the Hereafter and a source of comfort for us as a family.

We have chosen to support potential projects through MATW Project, which provide:

Access to clean water through wells.

Support for orphans and vulnerable children.

The building of schools, masajid, and community facilities.

These are causes close to our hearts and reflect the values my father lived by, and depending on the amount we manage to raise, a selection will be made from the available options found here: MATW Sadaqah Jariyah
