Friends of Rwandan Rugby

This is a charity that provides quality rugby coaching and training for coaches/teachers, which help to coach rugby to children of the local community. £1 donated provide coaching for 1 child for 1 year; This is a charity that is run by unpaid volunteers who work to provide coaching for these children as well as develop their coaching skills. They also fund their own trips to get to Rwanda and coach the rugby from their own money; They also provide their own kit and equipment for the children to be able to learn and practice rugby safely.

Rugby is a beautiful sport. It requires dedication, commitment and strength of character. To get up time and time again; to keep going; to work through pain and hardship for the benefit of your team. It instills in all who play values of respect, of hard work, but most of all solidarity.
