My name is Maranda West, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of the Hancock family — a family who has already faced unimaginable heartbreak and is now facing another devastating challenge.

Around four years ago, their daughter, Kimberly, was diagnosed with brain cancer and is now facing more than she can imagine. What began as headaches and fatigue turned into emergency doctor visits, tests, and the news no parent is ever prepared to hear. She has since undergone numerous treatments, appointments, and hospital stays. Despite everything, she continues to show incredible strength, keeping her loving and bright spirit through every challenge.

Sadly, this family’s journey with heartbreak didn’t begin here. Not long ago, they lost their other daughter, Stacie. Losing a child is something no parent should ever have to experience — yet this family is now fighting to save another.

Between medical bills, travel expenses to the hospital, time missed at work, and everyday household costs, the financial burden has become overwhelming. The parents are doing everything they can, but the expenses are growing faster than they can manage.

This GoFundMe is to help relieve some of that financial pressure so their focus can remain where it belongs — on their daughter’s treatment and spending precious time together as a family.
