Support Michael's Long Road to Recovery

Hello everyone, I have good news! He is no longer intubated and is awake and somewhat aware. He finished with 5 surgeries and should be all unless something arises. He can't talk very well yet but he has seen all the amazing gestures you all have done for him and is incredibly thankful. Please continue to send well wishes...it's still going to be a very long road.

A couple recent updates. He will have his 4th surgery today however he's still in the ICU, intubated, and sedated. The dr has now given a timeline of 12 months or more for recovery time. My family and I are extremely grateful for all the help you all have contributed and all the love being sent his way.

My brother, Michael was admitted to the hospital on March 29th with a life threatening infection. He has undergone 3 surgeries so far and that's just the beginning of the very long road to recovery. We are not sure how long he will be out of work but to help make this as easy as possible on him and have him focus on nothing else but healing, we've decided to reach out.
