Aid for my family in Gaza
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart, seeking urgent assistance for my family in Gaza. I am a Gazan who is now living in Belgium. On November 24, 2023, we tragically lost 40 family members in a bombing that targeted the mosque adjacent to my family’s home, destroying the house in the process. Only five members of my family survived the devastation, and I feel the need to share their stories with you.
My brother, Raed, lost his wife and four out of his five children in the bombing of their house. He now finds himself homeless with his lone surviving child, a 13-year-old boy (Nahed) who deserves education, a roof above his head, safety and a better life…
Another brother, Mohammed, also lost his wife. They were newlyweds, having just celebrated their union last summer, only to have their time together cut tragically short.
My elderly parents, who are far too old to endure the harsh conditions in Gaza, are also among the survivors. They, along with the rest of the survivors of my family, deserve a safer and more dignified existence.
Currently, they are all living together in a tent, struggling to provide for their basic needs. The injuries they’ve endured during the attack make it even more challenging to provide food and water, especially with the exorbitant prices in Gaza.
My ultimate goal is to secure a means for my family to leave Gaza and to provide them with the financial support they need to survive while they’re still battling this battle in Gaza. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Your help is crucial and deeply appreciated. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time.
