Hello my name is Tammy and I am fundraising for my family in Victoria BC. Sunday night they were awoken by an explosion and fire that broke out in their apartment on Queens Ave. Grabbing their cats my mom, two sisters and two nephews all escaped with no harm.

Unfortunately , the person who’s apartment started the fire didn’t have insurance!

My family is staying in a hotel for a week, then after that we do not know. We do not know how long the investigation will take, or when/ if they can go back to the building.

Victoria BC is an expensive city and the rents are very high. My mom is on a fixed income and my sister’s don’t make a lot.

Any help during this time of need would be appreciated!
