It Takes a Village

As many of you know, family is very important to me. I have been on a journey to expand my family over the past couple of years, and the time has come to take the next steps. My doctor says that it is time to try IVF. I'm nervous, but really excited at the same time.

Of course, this is a big step, and I can't do it alone. That's why I'm turning to you, my village, those that I care for and those that have cared for me, in order to ask you to come on this journey with me.

 

One round of IVF will cost over $12,000, and so I've decided to make my fundraising goal comparable with this cost. This will not include other costs such as medication and gene testing (expected to be another $8,000-10,000).  I know that this is a lot of money. Believe me, I KNOW!  So truly, ANY donation is much appreciated.  I'm a firm believer in the power of people to come together and help make great things happen.
