This page was created to urgently support my dear friends Jenny and Jorge Villalobos. They are emergently adopting Jenny’s second cousins, in Ecuador, who desperately need a home.
Daniela (16) and Anghy (13) are two beautiful girls who were being raised by their father as a single dad. Their mother passed away giving birth, to Anghy, 13 years ago. Tragically their father passed this April 2022. A few relatives have been temporarily looking after the girls, but NO family member is willing or able to take on the physical, emotional, and financial responsibility for the girls permanently. For now, they are with their elderly grandfather, which is tenuous.
Dani and Anghy live in Ecuador while Jenny and Jorge live in Annandale, Virginia. International adoptions are notoriously complicated, exhausting, and exorbitantly expensive. The approximate cost of the adoption will be over $60,000. These costs will need to be paid in full before the girls can arrive here safely. They are going through a delicate situation continuing their struggle with the emotional and psychological trauma of their father’s death. Jenny and Jorge don’t want the girls to wait any longer than necessary and compromise their safety or health so they have begun the process of adoption.
Jenny and Jorge are whole-heartedly committed to giving the girls a life in a safe, stable, and nurturing home. This will also be a blessing to them as they were unable to conceive and start a family before. We will never understand why, we can only accept this as part of a divine plan and do what is in our power to help them. Please help so these young women may form a loving family with Jenny and Jorge.
This fund was created to reach out to all of those who may be able to help Jenny, Jorge, Dani and Anghy as they move through this difficult transition.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, generosity and kindness.
We also ask for your prayers for this to become a reality. God bless you.
Respectfully,
Claudia Caro
