Help Julie Rebuild her Home

Julie Pulliam lived in an old farmhouse on five acres nestled among redwood trees for over 40 years. Her land is up in Bonny Doon which is an area in the mountains of Santa Cruz County, California. Last year in August, her farmhouse and all the buildings on the property were consumed by the CZU Lightning Complex fire which burned over 86,000 acres and destroyed 1,490 buildings. Julie and her grandson were fortunate to make it down the mountain before it was too late, but she lost everything including precious personal effects.

Julie has been determined to recover and resume her life in Bonny Doon. She has been working with FEMA, her insurance company, and contractors to find a way to rebuild her home and the rental units on the property which were a significant source of her income. She has moved a trailer onto the property to live in and oversee the rebuilding process.

In the last few months, Julie has experienced significant health issues which have slowed her down and is currently facing a real shortfall in income. Therefore, we have set up this GoFundMe page for friends to contribute needed funds to help get Julie through this difficult period in her life.
