My Eagle Scout project aims to create a Walking History Tour of Lynbrook, highlighting the people, places, and events that helped shape our community. Through the installation of informational markers at significant locations throughout the village, residents and visitors will be able to explore Lynbrook’s rich history while gaining a deeper appreciation for the individuals whose contributions made our town what it is today. I have always been fascinated by history and the stories that connect us to the past. Over the years, I have developed a deep appreciation for our village and the people who helped build this community. Through this project, I hope to share that passion with others and inspire residents and visitors to discover the rich history that exists all around us. Preserving these stories is important because they help us understand where we came from and strengthen our connection to the place we call home. To bring this vision to life, funds are needed for signage, printing, installation supplies, and other project-related expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help make this lasting community resource a reality.
