Hello, my name is Yazan Matar. I am 18 years old. Our story begins on October 7th, when a violent war broke out in the Gaza Strip. My family and I were living in our house in Gaza City, where we lived a beautiful and quiet life before the war took us by surprise.

A week after the beginning of the war, my family and I were forced to flee from the Gaza Strip, “our original place of residence,” to the Nuseirat camp, which the occupation army claimed was a safe place. A month after our displacement to the Nuseirat camp, the place where we were at the time was targeted, despite the fact that we were all Civilian people, as we were pulled out from under the rubble. I, all my sisters and brothers were injured, and we lost my older brother who was martyred during that time.

In addition to losing all our money and personal belongings in this targeting.

Which forced us to move more than once from one place to another in search of a safer place. During this difficult period, my mother was hit twice by bullets from Quadcopter planes while she was sitting in the garden of the chalet to which we were displaced the last time. She was transferred to the hospital, but due to the lack of hospital capabilities, she was treated incorrectly and the plaster was applied incorrectly, which caused health complications for her.

Now, I urgently need help to get me and my family out of the Gaza Strip to a safe and more stable place. Because I am not ready to bear the pain of loss and the loss of another member of my family,

The number of members in my family is ten people, and they require a high cost to leave the Gaza Strip, as the cost of one person leaving the Gaza Strip through coordination amounts to 5 thousand dollars, not including the costs of living outside the Gaza Strip, and the costs of health examination, which is difficult for us to bear on our own.
