Cosa posso fare io per gli altri? Cosa posso donare? Qual è il mio dono per gli altri?

Mi chiamo Katia, sono Italiana e sino a qualche mese fa lavoravo in ambito creativo; l’ho fatto per tanti anni!!

Come scultrice freelancer, e come art handler per importanti musei internazionali come la Tate e il Museo Nazionale di Oslo.

IO SO FARE.

Le mie mani sono il mio mezzo per donare.

E per questo ho bisogno del vostro aiuto!

Dai primi giorni di Ottobre 2018 mi vedrò impegnata al centro di Madre Teresa a Calcutta in India (http://www.motherteresa.org )

Offrirò poi il mio aiuto al Centro Palli Unnayan Seva Samiti, in Orissa, che è una casa ed una scuola per coloro che non hanno un tetto dove stare. (https://www.pussindia.org )

Potrò  anche prestare servizio all’Istituto Internazionale d’arte a Modinagar, a New Delhi. ( https://www.iifaindia.org )

Sono tutti Istituti sostenuti grazie al lavoro benefico dei volontari e dei donatori.

In questi centri, che lavorano per il supporto di donne e bambini svantaggiati, viene data la possibilità di studiare e di avere quindi un futuro nettamente migliore.

Il mio impegno è di stare il più possibile, ho dei risparmi che spenderò per questa causa, ma non sono ricca!

Ed ho bisogno di aiuto per prolungare la mia permanenza, (8/9 mesi) e prestare un servizio che possa fare davvero la differenza. E qui entrate in gioco voi, amici, sostenitori.

Il denaro da voi offerto aiuterà a coprire le spese di permanenza, biglietti aerei, treni e investimenti all’interno degli Istituti che visiterò.

What can I do for others? What can I donate? What is my gift to others?

My name is Katia, I'm Italian and until a few months ago I worked in the creative field; I did it for  many years !!

As a freelancer sculptor, and as an art handler for important international museums like the Tate and The National Museum in Oslo.

I CAN DO.

These hands can be my means of giving, making for others.

And for this I need your help!

I need your donation to let these hands go further, and make more.

I decided to undertake voluntary service at the Mother Theres Center  in Calcutta (http://www.motherteresa.org)

Then I'll lend my help to the Palli Unnayan Seva Samiti center in Orissa (www.pussindia.org ).

And I’m likely to be able to serve also at the International Institute of Art in Modinagar, New Delhi ( https://www.iifaindia.org ).

They are all institutes supported thanks to the beneficial work of volunteers and donors.

These Centers work for the support of disadvantaged women and children, who are given the opportunity to study and therefore have a much better future.

My commitment is to stay as much as possible, 8/9 months,  and help as much as I can. I have some savings that I will spend on this cause, but I'm not rich!

And I need help to extend my stay. And here you, friends and supporters come into play.

The money you offer will help cover stay expenses, airline tickets, trains and I will invest in the Institutes that I will visit.
