Race to 100 Free Therapy sessions!

Hey y’all!

Equal Shares Parenting has served over 2,500 people since starting this birthday fundraiser two years ago! Between our first and second year, we saw a 21% increase (292 more sessions). This year, we are on track for an increase of at least 400 more sessions. The need is evident! 200 of those sessions were covered by generous donors like you.

This year, we’ve seen a surprising increase in fathers seeking our services. Fathers and father-figures face additional societal stigma when pursuing mental health support. At ESP, we strive to alleviate this burden, especially for those between jobs, paying for other essentials, or not qualifying for public assistance.

Our income-based fee program ensures that clients can access therapy for as low as $35 per hour with a licensed therapist. Financial stress goes against our mission as a mental health provider and family support service. In challenging times, even $35 can be a significant strain.

For my birthday, I’m rallying my village to cover the cost of therapy for families in need at Equal Shares Parenting. Can I count on you to help me raise $5,000? With $5,000, we can cover over 100 therapy sessions this year!

Last year, we provided over 20 families with free therapy through this fundraiser. Here is feedback from two families who benefited:

We have a policy that no one who cannot afford to pay will be denied services if we have the capacity to take them on. As a solo owner, I do NOT have the capacity to offer these services for free…but with my village behind me, I KNOW I CAN!
